Perfect Sleepover Treats!

Hey Everyone!

Surprisingly, I haven't done any baking posts on my blog which is weird because I do love to do the odd cooking here and there.
So when Charlotte - To The Moon And Back, came round for a sleepover, we grabbed the opportunity to do some easy baking!
So I thought I would share what we did!

Chocolate Rice Krispie Treats:

What you will need:

- A bowl of Rice Krispies
- Broken up bar of milk chocolate- Bowl to mix your ingediants
- Lined tray
- Heat proof Bowl
- Saucepan
- Any type of decorations

What to do:

1. Half fill your saucepan with hot water.

2. Place your broken up chocolate into a heat proof bowl, which will fit snugly into the top of a saucepan

3. Gently melt the chocolate over the hot water, stirring so it becomes smooth. Make sure you don't over heat the chocolate, stir until it is just melted.

4.  Pour the melted chocolate into a larger bowl so you have plenty of mixing room.

5. Add the rice krispies to the mixture and stir until they are fully coated with the chocolate! In the past I have added at this stage, mini marshmallows or you could even add honeycomb, toffee and nuts. Just go wild!

6. Evenly, spread your mixture into the tray, making sure you don't spread it too thin.

7. This is optional, but we decorated ours with sugar stars.

8. Now chill in the fridge until it is set!

It looks so yum!
I enjoyed eating mine plain, but Charlotte ate hers with ice cream - it's your choice.
I hope you try this recipe out and enjoy munching on them too like we did.

In case GFC is going, I would love it if you would follow me on BlogLovin (here). So you never miss out on a post.

Have a great week!

My Favourite Necklaces ♥

Hi guys,

I've got quite a lot of necklaces but I thought I'd just show you my favourites.

Here we go...

I bought this clock necklace on a trip to Portobello Market in London. I'd wanted one for a long time and when I saw a stall selling a selection of them, I got so excited! As you can see the front flips open, so you can see the clock face more clearly.

This was a Christmas present from last year; it's handy to wear on trips to London! It's from Accessorize.

Now, this is a very special necklace! Again, it was a Christmas present but quite a while ago and was a gift from my furry, furry cat Boris. He lovingly placed inside, a super cute photo of himself, as well as an enamel pink heart.

This is an old necklace of mine which was bought from an independent boutique, in my town, called Reba. I love browsing in this shop because it has so many girly bits and bobs! It also stocks my favourite brand Sass & Belle.

My Auntie bought this for me on a shopping trip with my cousin (Imagine How Charming) It's from New Look and she got a hot air balloon necklace at the same time.

Last but not least, this is an Italian glass millefiori (thousand flowers) necklace which was brought back by my mum from a trip to Florence.

I'd love it if you'd follow me on Bloglovin, so you never miss out on a post!

Do you wear necklaces  much?
What are your favourites?

Music Tag ♥

**Not my image, taken from

I was just casually scrolling through people's blogs (like you do) when I came across this tag. I thought it was unusual as the majority of tags I have seen are about fashion and beauty. So this is a great way for you to know me a bit better and not be bored by fashion and beauty posts!
1. What are your 5 favourite songs right now?
What's annoying is that I tend to change up the songs that I really like, but here are my current faves:

1. Of Monsters And Men - King and Lionheart
2. Naughty Boy - La La La
3. Stooshe - Slip
4. Passenger - Let Her Go
5. Macklemore & Ryan Lewis - Can't Hold Us

2. Who are your favourite bands of all time?
I don't think there are too many bands I like, so I might cheekily add in some solo artists too!

1. Of Monsters And Men
2. Boyce Avenue
3. Mumford and Sons
4. Ben Howard
5. Ed Sheeran
6. Taylor Swift
7. Ellie Goulding

I can't even remember, it was so long ago!

7. What is your favourite band right now?
Definitely Of Monsters and Men

8. What is your favourite type of music?
It's quite hard to explain but acoustic type music? Like Ben Howard and Ed Sheeran

9. In your 25 Most Played list, what is #10?
I only had 6 songs in my list - fail!

10. What was the first gig you ever went to?
Ben Howard - it was amazing!

11. What was the best gig you've ever been to?
I have only ever been to one gig - Ben Howard. That has to be the best?!

12. And finally, if there was one band/album/song you would recommend everyone listening to RIGHT NOW, what would it be?
I think i have mentioned this band so much in this tag but it is Of Monsters and Men. They are amazing! Especially their album My Head Is An Animal.

I tag:

Life In A Few Nutshellls
A Little Birdy Told Me
Tawny Fawns

And anybody else, who would love to do this tag!

3 Ways Of Styling A Crop Top

Hey everyone!

As soon as the summer weather blooms, crop tops are one of my go to, easy to style piece of clothing. Crop tops are definitely a staple item in anyone's wardrobe, however with the wrong items of clothing, crop tops can sometimes look tacky and even unflattering. If you take the time and choose the right matches of clothes, crops tops can look flattering, modern and just an all in one amazing outfit!

Whenever you say the words "crop top" to someone, mostly everyone's reactions are that they would never wear one or they couldn't pull one off. Although that may be the case, there are some super duper easy ways of styling crop tops without showing to much skin!

Like the first outfit here, shows just taking a simple black crop top and placing a denim blue pinafore dress over the top! This ends up you not showing as much skin, paired with some white converse and topped off with a cute white bow in your hair and you're done!!

There are so many different types of crop tops, it's kind of unbelievable! From fitted ones, to dotty ones and also graphic ones, but one of my all time favourites is the crochet types. They give a more girly feel to the outfit without putting too much effort in.

When the heat creeps up, I love to pair crop tops with some distressed denim shorts and just some plain brown gladiator sandals. I always reach for some sort of bracelet or anklet, this outfit is great for on of those 'can't be bothered to make to much effort' days.

Sometimes I really like a pop of colour in my outfit, and crop tops are an easy way doing so. I like to go for more of a subtle pop of colour rather than a bright neon yellow?! A pretty coloured crop top can make an outfit look super cute and girly.

If I'm not just by the pool side or down at the beach, I would always pair a crop top with a skater skirt, whether it's floral or denim. I would usually have my hair tied up so I would clip in some gorgeous flower hair clips and slip on some cut out ballet flats. To make this outfit look even more cuter I would add any type of satchel.

Those were my 3 different ways of styling a crop top! Also I would love it if you commented down below some post requests, it would help me a lot!

    Hi Everyone,

Just to let you know I've changed my button (again!) so if you like the look of this new one, I'd be grateful if you would change my button on your blog. Of course if you prefer the old one, feel free to stick with it!

Hope you like it, as much as I do!

I took the photo for this new button on a lovely walk this weekend. We went through a meadow full of buttercups - it was beautiful.

Here are some more pics from my walk.....

Thanks for reading!
